wax on, wax off...

I took my favorite hoodie out of the project pile. I have been cold, and my sweaters haven't been cutting it. I had gotten candle wax all over my hoodie at the Day of the Dead celebration and it was time to get it out

Nope...not this time...maybe because it was a thick fleece. A light cotton may have had a different outcome.

ANd...if you find it's still a little stiff with wax - not visible but texture-wise? You can toss it into a dryer on hot with a bunch of paper towels - zap - soft cotton again.
