Klonopin

I drank a 20 oz coffee from krispy kreme a few hours ago because I was getting tired. Then I was wired. Jason gave me a klonopin, which is an anticonvulsive pill for epileptics. It's supposed to make me tired, but it's not working yet. So I'm sitting watching TV through the fuzz of not having cable. I'm watching stuff about Jarhead on TV. I can almost make out Jamie Foxx, I think.

I am getting my bike tomorrow. I am unbelievable excited. It's a Trek 1500 for anyone who knows about bikes. And I'm getting bike shorts so I look more than sexy. Kelly tells me that Jeff bikes a lot, and she makes fun of his bike shorts. I wish she wouldn't be so mean. I told her that you have to wear bike shorts if you don't want to squish certain necessary parts.

There's a pride and prejudice preview on TV right now. I wish people didn't make crappy movies. That would make me happy. Movies like that just get white girls pissed off because there aren't men with cute accents who dress in clothes from the 1800s. Sorry ladies, they don't exist, so don't get your hopes up. You'll have to settle for southern guys, which is about all you'll get around here, and they are as far from pride and prejudice as you get.

I'm coming to Birmingham for about 36 hours this weekend. I wish it was longer, but professors like to make life suck as much as possible. But I do get a decent thanksgiving break, so I will be back sometime during that period.

There is this really funny Korean guy in my class who loses a lot of what we see in the translation. His car battery died Friday. We told him we would take him to Autozone Saturday morning, but he lost that in translation. He called his dad, who lives three hours away, who came down, jumped the car, and left. JT drove it for about fifteen minutes, then parked it at his apartment. Then today he tried to start it, and of course it didn't work. He called to find out what to do, and I told him to get a neighbor to jump it (because he has a big truck and I couldn't jump him). He got a neighbor to jump it at about 6, then he left is running for about a minute to charge the battery, then he turned it off and went inside. Three hours later he called and asked why his car wouldn't start again. So he had to get the same neighbor to jump it again so he could get to school. It was freaking hilarious, because we explained what to do step by step, but he didn't get a lick of it. Lost in translation. And he's lived here for 13 years. It's so funny. He's the nicest guy but he just loses so much.

Anyway, I think my klonopin is working now. Everyone keep it as real as you can.
