So,
My dog got skunked. I had to tie him up in the bath tub and wash him with anti-skunk-smell shampoo, and at first, I couldn't get him wet because he's a black lab, and they have naturally water resistent hair. It just slid off his back.
(He's also got webbed toes)(and he's sleeping right next to me, AS ALWAYS, he's always there. :] )
Anyway, moral of the story: I set my work shirt on the bathroom counter and apparently some of this shampoo got on the counter and when I picked up my shirt (as I was late for work) I saw it smelled funny, but I pulled it on anyway. And I teach swimming lessons, so I didn't really have to wear it. So I did, and it got on my sweatshirt too. I think it's dried, because I just got home, but I can still smell it.
It's not a bad smell, just a strange one. Sort of oatmeal-y and ... shampoo-y.
It's a strange strange smell.
I talk to the kids I teach about my hair coloring or tell them what's going on. When we're open, when we're closed, what I do, working and volunteering. They just ask me stuff or we'll talk about some obscure topic. And it's good because I think they'll listen to me better if they think I'm a real person. And it wastes time when you have 35 minutes for two kids.
I uber need a shower
My skin is uber dry from chlorinated water.
and I have uber homework.
And I'm uber tired. And I uber need to take pictures, but I think I'll turn in my photo thing late. I never do stuff like this.
This blows.
Uber...-ly.
I think. Sorry for the ubers. I was having fun.
