(no subject)
My internship at Loveless Records has, more or less, come an end, simply because they don't have anything for me to do. The label currently only has two bands, one that has a designer within the band. This week was my last "official" week (as far as school credit goes) anyway, so I guess it kind of all came together. They said they'd be happy to ask me to do some projects in the future, if I wanted.
My new goal is to apply for an internship at The Squad Design & Development Studio in May/ June.
I just spent 3 full days working on a book design for my Experimental typography class . Unfortunately I don't have the time to get it hard cover bound, so I'll just have to get it saddle stitched (stapled at the spine). I'll dish out the dough for the hard cover when I've put my book through the test of my Portfolio class so I dont have to print and bind more than I have to.
Minneapolis this upcoming Sunday. For whatever reason, I'm starting to think I made a bad decision in a) spending the money and b) going over this particular break. Maybe it's has to do with being so busy lately. Whateves. I want their sandwiches, bridges and my friends.
