Today was very busy, yet it was one of those day where by the end of it, you don't feel like you got anything done.
I've been grinding my head in to the ground for days working on two shirts for The Cute Lepers. These ideas start out as good ideas in my head, but then turn out to not look as planned, so it has been constantly transforming, and kind of getting better. I'm just worried I won't be able to get it to them in time for their US tour with the Horrorpops (ehh...) in February and March, since this would mean I would have my stuff all over the damn country. Anyway, why can't I just do anything as planned? Such is the creative process.
I woke up and I worked on this for 4 hours until I headed downtown to pick up one of my Graphic Design bff's, Ashley. We set out to get Byron (owner of super sweet Singles Going Steady) the business cards we designed, and promised him, what seemed like eons ago. This included shopping for paper, and dirt cheap printing at Office Max. Afterwards we drove over to Singles and gave Mr Byron the cards, where he told us stores from his recent adventure to Prague, and did impressions of Henry Rollins (what a funny guy.)
I should probably sleep, but probably shouldn't, either.
