As a masive HP fan I was devastated to see it finish. But it has given me the opportunity to branch out into other books. I'm going to suggest 'The Mortal Instruments Trilogy' if you want something similar but with a bit of romance and suspense thrown in. It starts with City of Bones. If you guys haven't read the Fablehaven series by Branden Mull yet, you need to. They're real page-turners, very inventive, and have been on the NYTimes Best Seller list.

An amazing series to read is the Twilight - New Moon - Eclipse - Breaking Dawn [not released yet] series.
It's by Stephanie Meyer.
Its about vampires, but a new twist on vampires that doesnt make them all Dracula-ey.
One of the best series I've read since Harry Potter's end.
Granted its geared more towards teenagers, so I guess it's not for everybody.
