Switching things up

Nov 14, 2005 17:01

Well, last night was long. Gus just wasn't used to my place and all he did was walk around and meow. At 3:30 he jumped on the counter and ripped open his bag of food. Turns out, all you have to do if feed the little bugger, and he'll go right to bed. Before I left for work I made sure he had plenty.

So over the past few weeks my biology lab partner has skated through class off my answers, so I decided to make him do something, or I'll get a new partner. Turns out, the guy that sits beside me was stuck with some nincumpoops too, and we asked the teacher and now the two of us are partners. (His name is Kent.) And I never really got around to telling Dan (old partner), so today, I didn't even talk to him and figured he'd understand that I switched when I'd be sitting in a new seat beside a new partner who actually brought a pencil to class. I saw him at work and said hi, and all I got was the head bob. Loser. I couldn't care less, because I've never had to deal with such an inmature, cocky, rude, and unprepared person in all my college days.

I have to go, my post-op is coming soon. Laters!
