Moving on up

Yellowcard was awesome! The first band sucked ball (school yard heroes) but that's because the lead singer was a chick and all she did was scream and romp around the damn place. It was so bad, other people were booing them. A couple of the songs were okay, but the majority sucked. Then another band played (Moonies or something like that), hott little Canadian boys. They really rocked, and the cool part, at the end of thier set the lead jumped into the pit and was lifted up vertically (standing) and he kept singing! It was great. I was pissed that only GU students got floor tickets, and everyone else got seats. Chet and I were on the other side of the damn area, toward the top. Typically these are called "nose bleed section". So when Yellowcard came on stage, Chet and I moved to better seats, we were still in the very back, but we found a place were we could be directly in front of the stage, all we had to see was the pit. Yellowcard was fricken awesome, they had a really good stage presence, and they did a great job getting the crowd going. I would have paid $50 to get pit tickets though.

More good news: I got the apartment! I'm so excited! I told them I'd like to move in later next week, and they were okay with that. I''m very happy with everything now.

Chet's going on a fishing trip with his friend this weekend, and whenever he leaves, I end up having quiet nights at home. It's kinda nice.

I'm going to go study.
