7. How is the weather right now? cold and drizzly
8. Last person you spoke to on the phone? vinh calling me at work b/c he couldn't find something
9. What hobby do you wish you had time to do? write, photography, run (yes I am the chubbiest runner ever)
10. How old are you today? 29
11. Favorite drink? Alcoholic or not? I don't drink alcohol. I like sencha tea and mung bean sinh to (vietnamese shake)
12. Favorite sport to watch? curling! (when I lived in canada I was so addicted!)
13. Have you ever dyed your hair? yes. I have a ton of gray hair
14. Do you wear contacts or glasses? Glasses

17. Favorite food? tough... I love vietnamese food
18. What was the last movie you watched? alladin... not my choice of course
19. Favorite day of the year? I like easter but chinese new year is becoming my favorite holiday.

27. What's the last CD you bought? I don't buy many anymore.. but I got counting crows live, regina spektor, the new beck and peeping tom.
29. When was the last time you cried? watching tv.. overlysentimental about spouses or children dying
30. What is on the floor of your closet? shoes, my new unopened sewing machine, old work clothes in boxes
31. Who is the friend you have had the longest? my two friends I met in 6th grade unfortunately they live 4 hours away. I would move back if vinh would let me but I don't know if I could take the total lack of minorities or things to do. You can only go hiking so many times before the trees make you crazy.
32. What did you do last night? Worked, talked to vinh for a bit about his school and work issues.
33. What are you afraid of? vinh or kids dying.
34. What bugs you? racism or ignorance. A lot of people don't realize they are racist b/c of the way they were raised. I don't know who told middle aged white men that their shit don't stink.
35. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers? plain w/ lots of lettuce and tomato.
36. What kind of car do you drive? nissan sentra and a moped (thats vinh's)... we keep this car b/c it gets great mileage and the moped has only been filled once. we are waiting to buy our next car this summer a hybrid.
37. Number of keys on your key ring? too many.
39. How many years at your current job? 4.5 years
40. Favorite day of the week? Monday. vinh goes to work, marcus goes to school, and I get back on my schedule.
41. How many states have you lived in? 2 states, 1 really big city, 1 province and 2 countries
42. What is your favorite TV show? currently big love, the wire, weeds, Lost, jericho, heroes and Monk. note: I watch these taped or on demand
I really wish they would bring back dead like me and wonderfalls. Two shows that were cancelled before they got off the ground
random things:
-I didn't own a color tv until I met vinh and then it was only a little one. I didn't have cable until vinh moved in.
-I speak chinese badly... my french is almost as bad (sadly I used to work bilingually in french/english
-I really like canada better. The US isn't all its cracked up to be.
-I used to be a missionary... now I am athiest/quasi-buddhist. If anything I am raising my kids buddhist.
-I really like watching hong kong game shows
-I love french alternative music, punk music (seen bad religion 3 times) and hate country music.
-my friends and I purposely stuffed the ballot for our senior class song/dance.. and damn it garth brooks still won.
-I really like my parents. They are great friends of mine. I hope my kids have the same relationship with us.
-if it were up to me I would get my phd in contemporary asian american literature.
-secretly I really liked it when vinh traveled during the week for work. He drives me nuts during the week.
