Dan Futterman as Charlie, going after the epileptic drunk who killed his lover. Chapters going through flashbacks, weaving past and present, leading to the climax where he was contemplating killing the killer. The killer went to an epileptic fit, and he stopped. He made peace with his past, visited his lover's grave, and went home. The final scene had him giving his coat to a homeless man named Bill who lived outside his apartment.
