That is so low. Just when you think they can't sink any further... They need to just give up. Also, the other day and just now, I went over there to delete my account, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. It seems like you can't delete them, just abandon them. O.o

*groans* There is no way for you to remove your membership yourself.

Members may cancel their Account by emailing a cancellation request to support@fanlib.com. Cancellation requests must originate from the email address on your Account as of the time of the request.

I bet that could be challenged, especially if the account has any fics attached to it. As in, "Remove my copyrighted content from your servers NOW; nowhere in your TOS does it indicate that I give you control of my material if my email address changes."

Really? How did you delete it? I haven't even seen the button or whatever. Maybe I was looking too hard and it was staring me right in the face...?

I remember deleting it in July, but it's still there. There is no way to delete accounts now; you have to request it. From the TOS: Members may cancel their Account by emailing a cancellation request to support@fanlib.com. Cancellation requests must originate from the email address on your Account as of the time of the request.

I recommend putting "membership cancellation" in the subject line.
