I can confirm this statement.

Ace to see you. My mad mother says to say 'hello'

(pickle forks indeed)

Indeed I did and she was at first completely proud of the incident and then paranoid we had been laughing about her and then ashamed that I was embarrassed.

In the end we are both fine and getting through it with sufficent support.

*she did seem chuffed that you actually gave it to your sister and not leave it here though*

no knowing what chuffed meant, I went here: http://english2american.com/dictionary/c.html.

chuff v. To chuff is to fart. Entirely seperate to the word chuffed so use with care.

chuffed adj. Someone who describes themselves as being chuffed is generally happy with life. You can also get away with saying you are unchuffed or dischuffed if something gets your back up. Make sure you only use this word in the correct tense and familiarise yourself with the meaning of the word chuff too.

hahaha

We never use the first meaning. Though we do use the word 'guff' in that way so perhaps its just a deviation from it.

Ahh the wonder of our weird words!
