I ran gleefully through giant arches of water-the Clark College sprinklers for those who were wondering. Then went to Burgerville and gave a blanket to a drunk bum who proceeded to tell us about his son in Iraq who had his head cut off. When he began to cry and lose his balance I had to get out of there. Something about totally vunerable and helpless men makes me want to run. Its just not how they are designed. I believe that men were created as warriors in Christ. Seeing men that have fallen from that just takes me miles away from my comfort zone. I guess thats a normal feeling? People whose lives have fallen apart make others nervous and uncomfortable. Where do those feelings come from? If only it was the other way around. If only people were comfortable and completely drawn without fear to those who are broken this world would be completely different.
We need to let go of our rediculous comfort zones and reach out. I need to get out of my comfort zone. All they are is the area in your life that satan has told you you cannot succeed- an area that you "will" fail in. Let's let go of all of that and just trust.
Let's strap on the armor.
