Labels. A fairly redundant rant, please move on.

They're over-rated. Can we stop fitting people into categories? Thank you. Just because someone is different (religion, politics, sexuality etc.) doesn't mean that they fit into the nice little label that we slap on them. Not all Christians are crazy born-agains that believe that fags are going to burn in hell, not all liberals are tree huggers and not all conservatives are pro-Bush/Iraq/Bil O'Rielly, not all homosexuals fit into the very long list of stereotypes. Hell, not everyone out there fits into a label of "gay, straight, or bi".

I'm rather frustrated with the need for labels, or, more to the point, the assumptions about people who identify with a certain group.
