Ben swung around and looked at the body of the arm that had grabbed his shoulder it was Michael Messina an old friend of his fathers.
"How...how did you do that?"
"There isn't time to explain, we need to go home, there was an accident your fat-"
"No no my dad is ok I talked to him last night"
"Ben your dad was sh-"
"Shut up!"
"He was murdered"
"I said SHUT UP!" Benjamin swung at Michael at full force hitting Mike in the stomach and sent him flying.
"My Joseph was right the powers have spread on to you."
"What are you talking about!"
"All that will be answered if you come with me"
"But he- he can't be dead. He's all that I have left." Ben broke into sobs.
Mike held Benjamin and said "It's time to go."
Mike let go of Ben and his right hand turned black he slashed at opened air and a rip appeared.
"Come one give me your hand Ben."
Ben gave him his hand and they walked threw the inter-dimensional portal.
Ben and Mike reappeared in Ben's bedroom at Masarsky Manor. They walked into the main foyer where police officers and CSI drones where evaluating the scene. Ben then saw on the ground something covered in a white sheet.
"DAD!" Ben shouted rushing past police officers and robots.
He lifted up the sheet and saw his father dead and stiff, with a gun shot wound in between his eyes shaped like a wave.
"Who did this?" Ben shouted at the nearest officer.
"We don't know son but-."
"I AM NOT YOUR SON! I'm no ones son anymore. My name is Benjamin Masarsky! Remember that!"
"Well Mr. Masarsky we have no info so far, the killer left no traces, no DNA, no odors, not even an heat signature. This guy was a trained killer. All we found was that calling card bullet and this note in your fathers pocket."
Ben snatched the note from the officer and ran off to his room. Mike decided that it would be best to leave him alone.
That night after hours of crying Ben finally looked at the note it read:
"Too my son Benjamin, go to the room of steel and you will find your answers there."
Ben remembered one time that a room in the manor was referred to as the room of steel...
