Saturday was good in a roundabout not so good way. ha. whatever that means.

Well yesterday I went paintballing for the first time in 4 yrs. I had gone once before at a wherehouse place for my friend Tonys bday party. Now this time I went with my cuz Liz, my bro, my dad, and my good friend Tony to Mr. Paintball out in Esco. Seeing as it is summer and i wore one of those coveralls, and its fuckinnn inland and your doing thngs like moving around and shooting...iiiiittt goooot hot. yes. But despite tripping on a damn log and getting a bruise on my kneee (it hurts) and getting a welt on my arm, it was damn fun. It was different being able to play on different fields. Gonna do that again sometime again this sumer i hope.

Thennn when we got back in the car, i got a voicemessage about how Nick, and Tanner wanted to leave to go to the show in corona. What show you ask? Malevolent Creation, Origin, Animosity, Rise and some other band i cant recall their name. It didnt matter that we didnt leave early we ended uphaving to wait for the show to start for a while anyways...sux it was not the closest place in the world. Butat the show i saw Mike Wreck and his friend Tyson, i guesss they are friends with Animosity but they were there to see Origin. It was chill visiting with him.

As for the bands..the first band was good guttural death metal, i dont rememeber the name cuz it was long and in spanish but they were good. Rise were a blackened death metal band, with a keyboardist and no bass player they were pretty sweet and addeded some epic ness to the nite. Animosity were pretty good also, they are deathcore, getting their grind on and injecting some breakdowns. As always the metal guys didnt like the hxc dancing. THen Origin. Granted after their extended set i started to burn out, they were fuckin crazy. They play uber fast and it was awesome to see the bass player sweep across his bass, and the drummer laying down his gravity blasts. Malevolent Creation were pretty good, but personally Origin ruled the nite, and although it was good to see a classic death band, i personally find alot of other old school bands to be better than them. But then again i havent listened to their cds that much, when i get around to listening to them some more, maybe i will change my mind...
