This is crazy. I know the girl who will be playing Elle Woods on Broadway. Bailey and I had the same talent agent in South Carolina and whenever we competed I went directly after her because of our age and last names. I won monologue in the summer and she won it in the fall. That's so crazy to think about. Now she's living her dream.
I feel like that's something I'll never get to do. It inspires me yet at the same time is discouraging for some reason. She's living her dream at the age of 20, she is STARRING on Broadway. I'm doing theatre in college, which, for now, is what I want. I want a complete education. But after this...I don't think I'll ever get my chance. All I can do is hope and try my best.
