I dunno if its a matter of trust, I think she trusts you Lauren its just that,you are her only child and I think she is scared out of her mind about you growing up.I think she just wants to protect you and to keep you from getting hurt. It may seem like she doesnt trust you but honestly I think your mom is just scared. Just my thoughts though.

Yeah, i dont think its a matter of trust lauren.. seriously, ive known ur mom for a long time, and she definitely loves you with all of her heart, and i know she wants nothing but the best for you. Every parent has to give that talk, this is just her way of giving you 'the talk'. Don't jump to conclusions... shes a loving person, she wants the best, and she knows whats going on with kids today and she just doesnt want you to make a mistake. Not saying she thinks you are going to, but she doesnt want that to happen. Its very easy to happen, she hit it on the nail, everything. Shes completely right. I love your mom, just give her a chance to be a normal parent.
