At The Drive In - Enfilade
this could last us all a lifetime
limbs intact, untouched
on the screen of a video tape
confined to bedposts
we wait as lepers
upheld at knife's reach
we covet all the status quo
this syringe will take a lifespan
it's filled with bait and tackle
try and catch us if you can
sacrifice on railroad tracks
freight-freight train coming
freight-freight train coming
un-un-unconscious tied and gagged
freight-freight train coming
freight-freight train coming
sacrifice on railroad tracks
freight-freight train coming
freight-freight train coming
meet us at the corner
of fifth and pontiac
make sure that no one else
is with you
if you wish to see them alive
again
then humor me with this request
humor me with this request
in basements we will hide
amnesia in our alibis
sacrifice on railroad tracks
freight-freight train coming
freight-freight train coming
un-un-unconscious tied and gagged
freight-freight train coming

Monday 2012.04.23 continued...
Took the hound for a quick potter around Mount farm and the surrounding area of wooded land. The weather was miserable but that rarely puts I or the dog off once we are out.
So I spent the rest of the day reading and cleaning the place and preparing dinner for the hungry hordes. I made some burgers with steak mice onion seasoning and the 2 'secret ingredients' Wostershire sauce and chopped up sun dried tomatoes. Even made the chilli chips from scratch.
Tuesday 2012.04.24
Woke early and let the hound out to do his thing but soon decided that going back to bed was the way forward for today. Sat awake and cuddling dog while watching Wonders of the Solar System.
Got up and Bob and I went dog walking I nipped in to Asda and got a chicken and some cheese.
We cooked the chicken up while having a big theoretical discussion about life the universe and everything. Grabbed some cider and drank those too while we mixed up some dough for pizza. Created two of the beasts, one was anchovies with pepper and the other was chicken and mushroom.

Woke up many times during the night with crazy dreams.
One dream I was in a town filled with orthodox Jews and Muslims looking for a pet shop, when I found the pet shop it was up steep stairs and very dark as their were no lights only from the fish and amphibian tanks. At strange intervals a siren would go off which announced the performing monkey called original "Mr Bananas". He would come out from behind the curtain and be generally friendly and shake everyone's hands. The other dream contained Nicholas Cage need I say more.
The ride to work was a wet one the rain was so heavy jeans soaked through by the time I reached the station. Was key holder today so makes me feel a little bit more important and gives me something to busy myself with. I enjoy doing the banking bits as it challenges me and makes me push myself to do things I'm not so good at.
Got home via train as I did not fancy getting soaked again. Got in and chilled with a cup of tea and a bit of Skyrim. Fought Alduin for the first time at the mouth of the world. He was tough. Then ate and had a bath with the radio on and cleaned my hair. After I sat listening to my new NIN single which was part of my birthday present. Read another chapter of Atlas Shrugged it seems to be coming to some sort of crechendo, it's quite exciting.
The rest of tonight was spend getting rid of my beard, listening to Cocteau Twins. Fell asleep to the Blade Runner sound track.

Finished reading the Secret Garden on my DS at lunch today. Its such a sweetvpittle tale, filled with child like wonder if i had kids I would like to read it to them. The day was very quiet at work with very few sales but was quite relaxing due to a guy playing smooth saxophone outside. Nice. The rain was so unpredictable that i decided against riding home from CMK.
Home to big bowls of soup made with the stock and chicken I had cooked the other day. Chef Bob was in charge. Relaxed for an hour or so with my book then got on with some music. The track sounds good added lots of different bits to it from the basis of my original jamming over the top of the video. Multi tracked now sent to Dan for first approval.
Did some exercise as I am starting to feel a bit flabby in the tummy area, need to tone my stomach again so going to try and get back in to sit ups and press ups as there is literally no room forme to do yoga. I then managed to get to the last stage of the main mission of Skyrim. About to uncover a portal to take me Alduin for the last battle with him in a different plane of reality where he is busy eating mortal souls. Watched half of Donnie Darko, I had not seen it in so many years that it almost seemed new. Tiredness overtook me in the end and I had to just sleep.
Friday 2012.04.27
Managed to get up walkvthe the dog and eat breakfast at home this morning. Been a few weeks since I have fancied doing that. It's because was productive in the evening before, I though, made things, created and produced.
The day at work was an ok but shitty one the day crawled towards the end of it very slowly. Got the train back home and did almost a whole level of Tony Hawks on my DS before getting off the train. It is only the second course.
Got in and skyrim and killed Alduin. Apparently it's odd not to have met up with the rest of the other main factions in Skyrim before doing this. I had literally just met the blades and had to stop the empire and storm cloaks fighting but I've not done any of their missions. I've stopped the world eater so now I can go and get on with other bits if I like but I think I'm due for a change of game. Panda recommends Bio shock, Bob recommends a Transformers one.
I helped Mum with tea which was a Morrocan style thing with lentils and dates and cumin. One more bit of Rand then bed with the remainder of Donnie Darko directors cut on. Talking of directors cuts... Alien 3, I did not know the alien came out of a COW! Apparently this is only in the directors cut, instead of a dog in the normal/theatrical version?! Why did no one tell me and why have I yet to see this scene?

Mum was treking to Northampton today so good for me no bike to lug or hideously walk to do at the other end. Fast and busy day met Plum for a coffee which was nice. Then back to the madness of customers. The day passed fast eneough with the promise of a nice little meal in the evening.
Malcolm and I met smoked a fag portered about found places again to be closed up for what ever reason, Is Aroma at view shut down permenantly? In the end we settled of the Oriental Garden, mentioned before many times in my blog for excellent grub. Last time it was Dim Sum we had this was Bob and Mom and I.
Malcolm and I decided on trying their all you can eat option. So it goes like this, you have a mixed hors d'oeuvres - ribs, chicken, spring rolls, seaweed and prawn toasts. Second course a Peaking duck with pancakes or we could have had soup. Mains were 4 dishes from the main menu and a steamer of egg fried rice. It was all served very traditionally with small bowls for rice and and picking from the main dishes with chopsticks. We thoroughly stuffed our selves and finished off with a coffee.
The meal was good the company better and the conversation as always interesting and amusing. I think this should defiantly become a thing Malcolm and I do on a regular basis. We walked slowly to the train station and made our own ways home. I sat stuffed and full on the train and had to try not to fall asleep as the sun set.
A lift home from the station in Bletchley as the Rain was hammering down in MK. Got in to find the house with people in it people things and stuff going on so I retrated to my bed with a fruit cider and started my expedtion in to the world of Bio Shock. Did a few stages of the game and then put a film on called Exterminating Angel. Its a foriegn film old black and white one by Luis Bunuel, it was quite surreal, need to give it a better watch when I am more awake.
Sunday 2012.04.29
Woke early with dog requesting toileting. Had a talk to Mum the plan had been to go to one of the National Trust properties in Aylesbury but with the weather being poop we decided against it all and decided to bake instead. We are making sweet nut rolls, as I type this they are on their second rise and have the nut filling applied already. Not many plans for to day but to read and listen to music.
