Somethin's up at home. School's out for me, yeah, but it ain't for those fuckers still in high school, and so Karin callin' me in the middle of the day just to "talk" don't line up right. I was literally almost out the door for work when she gave me a ring, and I didn't even think about it until now. If Dad wouldn't think I was dyin' by callin' at this hour, I'd return the call--Karin never phones. It's always Yuzu, and usually it's gotta do with some boy or whatever the fuck Dad's gotten into lately and speculation about what lawsuit he might be involved in next. Metaphorically, of course.
Maybe I'll just drag her outta school myself tomorrow and get the rundown first hand. S'always easier when you can look someone in the eye, address the subject properly, and readjust based on what you see. This is probably my fault.
Dude, I dunno who's Boca Burgers were in the freezer, but I think they mighta been Sakura's. I ate 'em. SORRY.

First of all, Rukia is right--I am fuckin' bored. I dunno what I think's worse--that she knows me well enough to understand that I gotta keep myself busy, or that she said it and now I gotta live with her bein' on top of things. Heh. Um. HAHAHAHA.
The point's that I ain't been in touch with the girls, and maybe I haven't been playin' the big brother role like I oughta be. I pack up and leave 'em alone with Dr. Zevhago there, and
what do I expect to happen? He probably can't keep outta their personal lives, and Yuzu's gotta play Mom now and try to have some teenage-type fun, and Karin...fuck, Karin is turnin' into me. I don't like seein' the mirror image in her. She's gonna get herself into somethin' one of these days and not be able to back it up like I can--
Oh. Oh fuck.
