I HAVE AN EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF ENERGY RIGHT NOW AND THOUGHT I WOULD SAY HI TO YOU ALL!!
I am supposed to be writing my analysis on the Arch of Titus right now but for some reason the caffeine in my system is not letting me focus!
We got back from our tour of the Hill Towns of Tuscany about 5 hours ago and it was AMAZING! I have never walked up so many steep hills but every single one was worth it! Even the hill in Cortona that was 250 meters vertically up to the top! It was a pain in the *** but it was definately worth the walk to see the view of Cortona as well as the rest of Tuscany from the top of that hill! Today we got to walk through a castle and walk around the walls outside looking at the lake that surrounded the whole city of Castiglione Del Lago. I will have my pictures up within the next few days and I must warn there are a ton of scenary pictures but they are gorgeous! There is also the amazing picture of Kent, Mike, Meghan, and I doing handstands on the top of the castle look out point! We had to skip out of our last town visit because it was downpouring today but over all this weekend was probably my best yet in Italy!
We ate at this amazing little restaurant on Saturday where Kent and Mike split 1 kilo of beef and the man at the restaurant, who was awesome, (and who looked like Mr. Ludwig for anyone who knows him) brought out this huge slab'o'meat to make sure it was enough for the boys and the food was all delicious except for the ribolitta which had to much spinach and beans for my liking but the boys all enjoyed it thoroughly!
Alrighty well I must go finish my analysis for the FTD man because it is due bright and early tomorrow morning before I begin my 4 day of lectures with Prof. Kirk (think of the FTD symbol and add an art history finatic personality and you will have Prof. Kirk!)
