2012 Wrap-Up
1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
I... got married! I changed grown-up jobs! I made ice cream! I... lost 38 pounds?
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
As per usual, I can't remember if I made any New Years' resolutions, and because of this, I should probably NOT make any this year, since even if I do, I inevitably forget them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Um... not anyone close to me, but lots of people I knew in high school. And there are a ton of pregnant people on my FB friends list. Weird.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank goodness.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just this one... maybe that will change next year?
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
Financial stability and an acceptance to PA school!
7. What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
10/14/2012 - I married the love of my life!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Changing jobs, reapplying to PA school, and getting an interview at one!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Having to reapply to PA school because I didn't get in last year... having to go back on an SSRI
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Is "constantly" an option for an answer here?
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Um... my wedding gown? That was pretty awesome.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Ken's, absolutely. Also, Victoria's. Kristian's. Levi's, as per usual. My dad's. And Constance's, holy crap. <3
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My mother, as per usual. And as for a few select others.... they surprised me in unpleasant ways and they may or may not know who they are. Sigh.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, car insurance, gas and tolls, restaurants, bills... lame.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Marrying Ken, getting a new job, getting a PA school interview
16. What song will always remind you of 2012?
"At Last" - Our first dance song at our wedding
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. Happier or sadder? Happier.... most of the time
ii. Thinner or fatter? Thinner, thank GOD
iii. Richer or poorer? Well, I'm not any poorer than I was last year, but I'm still kind of poor. As a unit, Ken and I are in a much better financial place than we were a year ago, though, so that's good.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Sleeping, reading, knitting, spending time with my girlfriends, baking
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Sitting in traffic, crying, freaking out, being diseased
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Well, it's over, and it was kind of an awkward disaster.
21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
Katie, probably.
22. Did you fall in love in 2012?
Just more in love :)

None, thank you

Top Chef, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Fringe, American Horror Story, most of the Food Network
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
A little

Fiction - Cutting for Stone
Non-fiction - Undead: Organ Harvesting, the Ice-Water Test, Beating-Heart Cadavers -- How Medicine is Blurring the Line Between Life and Death

A new job, to get married

An acceptance to PA school

Hrm. Dark Knight Rises? I don't see a lot of movies in the theaters and I apparently forget the ones I do see.

Um...apparently nothing? Stayed home? I think we cooked dinner together?

Making more money... being accepted to PA school... not having my mother be an absolute moron

"What's clean and moderately fashionable that fits? I'll wear that."

Ken, my friends, sleep

Healthcare issues and marriage equality

LF, Memily, my dad, Constance, Katie, Kristian (until she moved back from Ohio)

Well, I didn't really "meet" her, but flannelgnome is awesome!
