Continuing on the Interpol obsession, and for those who are attracted to their music, you've got to listen to this version of Leif Erikson from the Black Session. Why?? Simple.
Instead of "But if your life is such a big joke, why should I care?", it's "But if your life is such a big fucking joke, why should I care?" I just LOVE that. I can't explain it...but it just makes the whole song (hell yes I would go that far) more meaningful, and the mood too. So adding some profanity as an adjective makes a song more meaningful? In this case, yes.
Aside from that, no word can describe my love for this song. Everything from the lyrics to the rythm accompanying those lyrics to Paul's voice expressing those lyrics just fall perfectly together.
She feels that my sentimental side should be held with kids' gloves.
But she doesn't know that I left my urge in the icebox.
Ooh how he can write. The best part is when Paul gets to Well then hook me up and throw me, baby cakes, cuz I like to get hooked. hahaha But really, this song could've been written under simple terms, but Paul just turned it all around. Someone once said to understand Interpol, you have to be either really high or trippin'.

But considering it's Interpol, I think they can fill the crappiness void that exists. I can't help the "fab four" one. It just cracked my shit up when I thought of it. Me so fuckin' lame. I'm starting to get into Dead Like Me. It's alright. (The moment I decided to like this show was seeing George's reaction to her coming death...sooo would've done the same) But I can't get ep 1x08! I'm stuck on that ep. Suprnova won't host it. Does anyone know another place that hosts this show?? Like S1 and S2? Please help. I need episode 1x08 - The Cook. I cannot go further until I watch that one. Btw, Mason and George possible OTP?
Oh, is anyone watching Desperate Housewives? lol The one in that famous slot. I pretty much don't have any shows to look forward to now except for that one. (wth Curb Your Enthusiasm and Monk??!) It really is funny. And I like it.
