I've got a lovely bunch of cocoanuts, dee dee dee dee...
So kitten was just sitting on the floor mewing, because she wanted me to pick her up. I picked her up, and kissed her head forcefully.
I cut this story short to give this update. A tiny (3 cm) scorpian was just crawling across my laptop screen.... EWWW.........
Back to cute fuzzy kitten stories....
She expressed her distain for my forceful kisses by putting both paws on my face and pushing. I moved away, her paws went down. I came closer the paws raised back up. It is fun also when she is mad at the neighbors for touching her and she lifts her paw up beside her face to wack them and lowers it as they back away. She literally wacks them without claws too. The more she doesn't like it, the harder she hits. It's funny. It is almost like she is saying, "Don't make me bitch slap you... I mean it! Fear the paw!!"
She's a piece of work.. She must go in the bathroom when you are in there, and she will procede to use her litterbox, chase her tail in the bathtub, climb over all the counters looking for toys, and if you take a shower she has to roost between the inner and outter shower curtains to watch the water. If she sees the soap swirl in the tub, she may be tempted to jump in, and quickly regret her decision. After the shower, she has to have a drink of water from the draining tub. She jumps onto the headboard, notices her tail, and goes to get it and falls on your face while you are sleeping. She will repeat this process as long as she stands on the head board.. She runs along the back of the couch chasing the dog when she comes in from outside, and will either leap over her, or near her and bat the dog's face playfully depending on her mood. The dog ignores her, or pauses for a moment. The cat yowls if I go outside, and watches me in the window. In the evening, she gets angry if I take too long making dinner or eating. If I take too long cooking, she will jump onto my shoulder and sit there watching me until she gets bored then she climbs down my back. When I am eating she will either beg, try to steal food, or get impatient and sleep on the back of the chair until I am finished. Then she climbs into my lap for her evening nap. When I sleep she is typically on my stomach or between my knees. She used to sleep next to my head. Her newest development has been to shred paper products and play with the resulting confetti. She especially does this while she is in heat, and then she will make similar beds of fabric around the house. We think she is prepping for imaginary kittens. She has also been known to jump about 6 feet to the top of the refrigerator from the back of a chair to steal broken toys that are in need of repair, and run off with them to hide where we can't get her. She is a stinker butt..
She has personality plus, and I have never had a cat so convinced that we must be cats as well. She is such a silly kitty.
So that tiny scorpian now has me parinoid. I hope there aren't more scurrying around here.... That's the last thing we need... I wonder if there is scorpian poison... I can picture one growing in the dark confines of the house somewhere, and then stinging an animal or human... I have no experience with these hot climate creatures... I am going to have to consult google I guess..
Chris got me a hand powered blender, slicer, shredder, fry maker, and juicer yesterday at the mall:) I can't wait to make smoothies.
Now to decide which Ren Fair to attend next week:)
