What a brilliant instalment - sorry for taking so long to beta it! I love the brooding, melancholy atmosphere you've created, and the tension of their meeting, and poor exhausted Howard having walked all the way from Leeds only to find things are no better in London... except of course for Vince being there...

The jazz records were a lovely touch, a brief moment of happiness for Howard before the memories of what he's lost kick back in.

Looking forward to the third chapter - are they going to play the records?

I'm really glad you like it. It means a lot that you're still lovely enough to comment even when you saw it in it's slightly shambolic state. Can't thank you enough, seriously.

Ahaaa the records will come back, but only when you least expect them!! (Or maybe next chapter, haven't decided yet.)

This is completely gorgeous! I love the little references you slip in without making them sound obvious or forced. I can't wait for the next chapter!

(I love you for many reasons too, you exquisite human being!)

I had to have hobo!Howard in this because hobo!Howard is everybody's favourite Howard. In my mind he looks a little bit like how Ju did in Bunny And The Bull :D

That is pretty much the best thing you could have said because I get really anxious writing AUs about whether I'm forcing the jokes in, or how to get their personalities through in such a completely different world, and gah I just really love you, ok?
