Oh my god that gorgeous little dog! It has all worked out famously with little Ebb. So far. She started 'rounding up' Flo today which is a bit obsessive, and something I don't want for Flo. But then Flo decided to take Ebb for a massive run around the house as fast as they could go and Flo is a speedy little thing, so it sorted out that other little dog's energy.
Ebbie looks at me and cocks her head to one side trying to understand and is constantly looking to me for what she should do. So different from Flo who is very independent and not really answering to anyone. Given, it's Flo's lot to be a member of both households (here and Mum's) and her own agent.
I have the time to spend with Ebbie that I didn't have with Flo. Mum has mainly trained Flo. I am DYING to take Ebb to the beach. She is very water focussed and will love to swim. She jumps in the pond at Mum's. I have started doing obstacle courses with Ebb. Just because it's easy to set up in our yard and I can see she really loves 'working'. She has started going around the property with Phil like a real farm dog, which Phil LOVES.
Flo goes along with us during the obstacle courses and gets treats for sitting and just generally being there and being supportive. ;-)
