1. Who's your favourite band/singer and why?
I don't really have a favourite singer, albeit I like Cat Power and A.A. Bondy a lot. My favourite band at the moment is probably Band of Horses. I like alternative and indie music in general, and they have quite a few beautiful and moving songs with great lyrics.
2. If you could meet any celebrity who would you meet and why?
Maybe Ian McKellen, just because he seems to be a very interesting and down-to-earth person who surely has a lot to share. I also feel like I wouldn't be as intimitated as with other celebrities, as I tend to get shy around a 'normal' person already, and god knows how I would react to meeting someone I have a tv or movie crush on. I also feel a lot more comfortable talking to people at least a few years older than me. Otherwise I'd pick the Dalai Lama.
3. What's your biggest phobia?
Hmmm ... that's a difficult one. I hate elevators, but this dislike isn't strong enough to make me climb ten floors. I also don't really suffer from arachnophobia, which is quite a conventional fear I guess. However, I'm prone tp panic when swimming in the sea, where the water isn't clear anymore, which is due to a shark documentary I saw when I was five. So yeah, I don't like not knowing what kind of fish could be swimming right next to me. I even have this problem in lakes, which is quite embarrassing.
4. What character from any book/film/tv show do you most relate to? Why?
I've never seen a character where I immediately thought 'Oh, this is so me', mainly because I'm so average and boring nobody would ever consider writing such a character for a show. When I was little my hero was a tomboyish girl from a swedish movie, but we weren't all that similar. Maybe Jal from Skins, with a little bit of Emily and JJ. Shy, awkward, but loyal to their friends. Interestingly enough, Jal wasn't my favourite of gen1. I guess this kinda proves the theory that even normal people don't want to see normal people on tv. I don't necessarily watch television for the realism. I like when I can relate to characters, but I don't need to see a copy of myself to do so.
5. What can you not live without?
Let's be geeky and pick my computer. I also adore my friends, at least most of the time.
