Well, I did it.

After two months of shoddy support and waning interest, I went ahead and sold all my Warcraft miniatures on ebay. After looking at the disconnect between buy-it-now it now prices and the prices people were actually bidding, I decided to go the Billy Mays route and just throw in a bunch of stuff free. Free carrying case, free loot cards (one of them a rare, but not very sell-able one) and put in all my Battleground minis with the silver bases.

I set the minimum bid at 99 cents and the buyout at approx 65% of what I payed for everything: 400 dollars. I was hoping to get at least 250 for it, with a small chance of getting the full amount.

Someone snatched it up an hour and a half after I posted.

Seriously, I went to check to see if anyone had bid and was perplexed. It disappeared from my selling screen. I checked my email and realized why.

So, in the end I got about a years worth of fun out of it and was able to sell it for a reasonable price. I just wish UDE had spent more time marketing and trying to accomodate people who wanted to play both TCG and Minis.

In any case, I'll be selling my TCG stuff as well, most likely next weekend. This gives me hope.
