so tomorrow i have to take the World's Hardest Chemistry/Physics Test Ever (actually, it wouldn't be that hard if i had studied more and if i had the motivation to study) and i was reading about velocity. the book talked about escape velocity, and that prompted me to check one of my favorite books hard love. in the book, there is a girl that writes zines and hers is titled "escape velocity."
escape velocity is(chemistry book's definition) "a critical speed at which as projectile can outrun gravity and escape the earth."
the book (not that it's very different,) is the speed at which a body must travel to escape the gravitational pull of another body."
i've been reading this book since eighth grade and i never thought that i'd actually have to learn escape velocity. weird.
