Access Hollywood interviewed Stevie about the rumors of Lindsay Lohan making a movie about Stevie's life. Here's the quote: "That is completely insane and crazy. There is no movie in the works on my life. NOBODY can do a movie about my life without me being involved. Because NOBODY KNOWS what really happened in my life until I tell them. So nobody can make a movie about my life. And if anybody ever went and made a movie about my life without my permission and my being involved, I would SLAM IT SO HARD to the press that it would never do anything because, you know, it-it's, you know, when you, you talk about someone taking YOUR life story and putting it up on a big screen? It's a very heavy thing to consider that happening. So I would have to SO trust somebody to actually sit down with them and actually really tell them the story of my life and let them make it into a movie that I think that , uh, that'll take just the right person to walk into a room and say to me, 'I would really like to do your story,' and have me like feel from my heart that this was somebody who would take my story and really treat it with compassion and, and make a great story out of it. Because my life IS a great story. SO until that happens, there will be no movie."
On the one hand, I now feel incredibly confident that Lindsay Lohan will never be anywhere near a movie about Stevie Nicks. Thank God for that! The bolded stuff, by the way, is NOT my emphasis, but rather Stevie's. Eep!
At the same time, now I'm all like "STICK ME IN A ROOM WITH THIS WOMAN!" I am the person for this job. I feel it in my bones. But at least, if someone else were chosen to write this movie, AT LEAST then, I will know that the person chosen is someone deserving of it because what Stevie wants for her life story is what I want for her life story. So I guess that's okay.
