Day 28
The definition of awkwardness: this weekend, the shelter had pizza, and everyone kept saying to me, "We have pizza. Make sure you get pizza." Now, my first thought was of course, "I can't. I'm vegan." But then I didn't want to say that and sound like I was complaining, because it really wasn't an issue, and it's awkward to explain to people sometimes. So I was saying like, "No, I'm okay" or "No, that's all right," but because it wasn't my first thought, there was like this LONG ASS pause between their "EAT PIZZA" and me saying "NO." I should have just said I was vegan. It would have been less awkward. Or you know, it would have been just as terrible, because I am a poor approximation of a human being who can socialize. Anyway...
Day 28 - First TV show obsession
It had to be Melrose Place, but I was also pretty obsessed with Care Bears. Specifically, I was all about the Care Bear cousins. Swift Heart Rabbit was my jam. The fact that SHR has the Stevie Nicks' wild heart on his/her belly is just more evidence that I basically haven't changed since I was 5. Lotsa Heart Elephant is trash by the way. I'm just gonna toss that out there, and I dare you to challenge me on this, because I am willing to fight lol
