(no subject)
Today, the shelter got 20 ducklings in, and they needed to be transported to a different location. Naturally, this email was sent 10 minutes after I'd henna'd my hair. Truth be told I would have washed my hair out and said, "Screw the dye," in order to chaffeur some ducks. But I have a lot of hair, so even if I'd hopped in the shower to wash the dye, it would have taken a long ass time before I was ready to transport them :( And I just realized I forgot my no1curr about ur Castle feelings tag when I talked about Castle, and my life is tragic and sad.
Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving
Jane the Virgin is the closest thing I can think of. Normally, I go in to shows thinking that I will love them or go in not really giving a fuck one way or the other. I can't really think of a show that completely defied my expectations in a good way. I was surprised by how much I liked the pilot though. It is, in fact, the only episode of the show that I've watched, as the previews for the other episodes didn't seem all that interesting. Personally, I didn't want to see Jane throw away her beliefs and run out and get dick ASAP, which is kind of where it seemed like all of this was headed. Still, the pilot was better than I thought it would be, so I guess it counts. Anyone watch the rest of the first season? What were your thoughts?
