I tried to round up the remainder of the
help_lisa auctions today. Last time I did this, I didn't hear back from some people, and nothing really happened. This time though, it seems like everyone is ready to post or will be ready to post, or in one case, did post. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone.
But me.
At the time of posting, I have 30,647 words left to write for the auction and 42,462 words left for the Lent version of Nanowrimo that I'm doing with
tinpra. I'm screwed, etc, blah, blah, blah. All I know is that if I ever finish Fear of Fire Leaves You Cold, it will be closure for myself and a lot of people, and I will have gotten there without simplifying the issues from the actual canon or turning Cuddy into a mindless sex avatar willing to forgive him for everything at the drop of a hat. So we'll see what happens. I've got a clear vision, which counts for... well, nothing, but it is a tiny bit motivating.
In sad news, I found out that Hugh Laurie is doing a concert in like 2 days? I'd actually been looking on Friday to see if he'd be playing in CA soon and somehow missed the announcement for this tiny one off? I'm embarrassed by how bummed I am that it was sold out. I don't think it's a typical show, which sort of makes my not being able to go worse. And the price was great too, so I am grumpy. But I guess I can't be too sad, because while others will be shoving ham down their gullet on Easter, mine will be spent with Stevie Nicks. Documentary screening + TWO Q&A panels with her = better than an egg hunt, that's for sure. :)
