Note: I haven't watched Glee yet, as I was busy watching the classy, dramatic powerhouse known as Melrose Place. So before I consider watching more shitty tv, I need to unleash a little bit.
I'm telling you House should just accept his hoing, go buy some Courvoisier, condoms, and an STD panel. Blast some of Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty" and enjoy life, I say.
I really honestly don't see Cuddy pointing out that she adopted Rachel in this context as being organic. If someone asked my parents if they had kids, they would never say, "We adopted two daughters." They would simply say, "Yes, two daughters." I've yet to meet anyone who would go out of their way to describe how their children came into being when asked that most basic question.
As far as a pregnancy... Cuddy's not that old. Last year, she was 38, okay? We are Benjamin Buttoning at this point; the better argument would be that she's 10 this year and hasn't hit puberty yet, so she can't get pregnant. :P Seriously though, she could still get pregnant in her 40s (assuming we're ever going to allow Cuddy to be/stay in her 40s). It may be the equivalent of winning the lottery, but it's not an impossibility. I mean, come on, if they're having Cuddy date Lucas, realism involving the characters' genitals is clearly not high on the writers' list. ;-)

that's actually my point. it's NEVER organic. she's ALWAYS saying my adopted daughter. she's just fucking awkward.
just to clarify, i know that women are getting pregnant later in life these days and i've no problem with that. but enough is enough; she already has an ADOPTED DAUGHTER :p she's like 43 at this point, so the odds of there being 'problems' with the kid (not to mention the quality of the sperm), and with the pregnancy (considering her past history) are just through the roof. i know it's their fucking m.o., but please let's stop beating a dead horse - it just can't end well for her. OMG! i just had a horrific thought; they go ahead with this pregnancy line and she somehow dies carrying the kid. maybe the kid dies too, but with one fell swoop cuddy & lucas are gone and house is permanently scarred. or maybe not, you know, since the only woman that's ever meant anything to him is lydia. sigh.
please let's stop beating a dead horse - it just can't end well for her. LOL, this is precisely why I think it might happen. Zero credibility + zero entertainment value + 10,000 babies = Cuddy's next storyline. Duh. :P
