(no subject)
This past week marked the third or so time that I've had a conversation with someone who is anti-dark!Wilson and/or anti-rape fic, and at this point, I'm just annoyed. So given my contrary nature, the only thing to do is write something that fulfills the requirements of both, no? The more people scream "OOC" and "misogyny" without even reading it, the better! It's gonna be epic.
Sidenote: As fucked up as it is for someone who's "pro-life" to shoot a doctor in a CHURCH, can we talk about Dick Cheney instead? He hasn't been so awesome since he shot someone in the face! I know that his support for gay marriage now seems hollow to an extent - i.e. why wasn't he saying this when he was in a position of power? BUT nevertheless, I think it's a huge move for the Republican Party and a good one.

Alias
1: What got you into this fandom in the first place? My friend, Yommy, was a big fan, and she wanted to watch it in my apartment one night. So I watched it with her, and I loved it.
2: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? Hmm, I feel like... because I lurked in fandom when the show actually aired, I have a lot of random thoughts and ideas about the show that never came to fruition. And because of that, I'll probably never really be over the fandom.
3: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? Hm... I really LOVE the episode with Quentin Tarantino... The Box, I think? I also love A Dark Turn and The Passage. Really, any episode that focuses on the "old" people and not the Sydney/Vaughn shit is good with me, LOL.
4: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)? Sort of. I've written one fic, and that is basically my extent into the Alias world.
5: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? I wish more people were in it now. I feel so alone!
CSI: Miami
1: What got you into this fandom in the first place? Boredom, LOL, got me to first watch it. Sofia Milos made me like it. Stetler's clothing has made me stay. :P
2: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? I have a lot of animosity towards Miami at this point. I really feel as though the writers took the show in the completely wrong direction, took it in the way of SHITTYville. At this point, I feel like I should run away as fast as I can. But I don't. So I probably never will. :(
3: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? Broken, Slaughterhouse, Blood Brothers, Witness to Murder, Lost Son, Pro Per. I will also mention Hurricane Anthony, but my love for that episode comes down to 4 things - 1). Yelina and the kitten, 2). the murder by hurricane jackass, 3). Calleigh's speech about hurricanes, and 4). Horatio being a complete tool and thinking it's a step forward in a relationship when you help someone take the boards off their windows.
4: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)? I do. Lots of fanfiction. And of course, I am still working on the Horatio kill count. It's just been stalled by the crappiness of season 4.
5: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? I wish there were more H/Y fans, but that's it. I don't really want new people getting into the fandom; I don't want to encourage the writers to keep doing what they're doing.
Roseanne
1: What got you into this fandom in the first place? Being alive? I don't know. I've been a fan since I can remember.
2: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? I am a Roseanne fan for life.
3: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? I don't even know where to begin. The Halloween episodes are awesome. I love the two-parter with Fisher beating up Jackie. I love the episode where Roseanne and Jackie's dad dies. I love the home ec one and the one where Roseanne and Jackie take a job at the grocery store. I love the episode where Darlene gets her period and the one where Bev breaks her hip or whatever and Fred bitches her out and Dan pretends to punt Bev, LOL. Really... I like all of them. LOVE all of them.
4: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)? I've made graphics. I've had a lot of discussion about the show. No fanfic so far. :(
5: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? I think people should absolutely be in this fandom. It kind of weirds me out when I find people who haven't ever seen the show. Like, what planet are you from? :-P
