I am FINALLY fucking finished with this stupid chapter of Edge of Chaos. Final word count? 27,529. That shit took FOREVER, even though I was writing about 2k a day like it was November and I was Nanowrimoing or some shit. And even when I wasn't writing it, it was staying with me. I was dreaming my stupid chapter... particularly my stupid chapter being ranted on onfanficrants . I don't know why. But I can tell you that the fake ranter was bitching about how I'd made Snape (who is in a completely different fandom and nowhere near this piece) too nice. Which is kind of hilarious, because of all the things people could say about me and the things I do, I'm pretty sure "too nice" is the one thing you will NEVER hear someone say. :P At least I hope not. I've spent nearly twenty-five years cultivating my bitchiness; I'd hate to think all that time had been for naught. ;-)
Speaking of bitches... the n00b Melrose Place is taking a turn for the better! Although I'm not sure how I feel about the new show bringing Sydney back from the dead, I am beyond elated that they've hired Thomas Calabro, aka the only one who was in every single episode of original Melrose Place. Michael Mancini is the SHIT. People would always say that Melrose Place was horrible in terms of depictions of women. Michael was the rebuttal to that argument. What with his, I don't know, 5? marriages and his penchant for dating crazy ladies and stripping to "Addicted to Love" and breaking the law and his canon ability to cure end-stage BRAIN cancer with his penis -- Michael proved that Melrose Place was just a horrible depiction of humanity. And that's why I love it. Because we could have fights like this:
Lexi: You're an oversexed pig!
Michael: Oh yeah?! Well, you're an oversexed slut!
God, I wonder how many divorces he's been through in the years since we've seen him. I can't wait.
