Murphy hadn't been kidding when she said it was only a matter of time before she got a case that she needed Harry's help on. All the weird cases in Chicago were been routed to her desk these days. Apparently, she was developing a specialty. Kirmani was thrilled about that, but Murphy didn't really have a choice. They worked the cases they were given and this one involved something weird. Something weird that left scorch marks on the floor and burned victims alive. The arson investigator said the patterns were not natural. When things weren't nature, that meant a visit to Harry.
She knocked on the door to his office, looking over the file for a moment. She peered through the window when Harry didn't answer. That was weird. He was supposed to be in his office at this hour. She checked her watch. He should be in. She sighed, why wasn't he in when she needed him? She would have to stop in again and was about to leave when she caught sight of something out of the corner of her eye. Frowning, she tucked the file under her arm, and put her hand on her gun. She pushed the door open and swept her gaze over Harry's place, looking for anything out of place.
"Hello? Harry? Are you in here?" She called, taking a step inside, "It's Murphy. Got a case for you."
