mr. vertigo on the flying trapeze

things have been pretty well over the last few weeks.

a quick diversion! yesterday i had 35 plays on myspace and 15 downloads! where'd that explosion come from?! it was a wonderful little surprise, though.

my "d" key is acting a little funny, so if any words i type look odd, try plugging a "d" somewhere in the word, and it should make more sense.

anywho, i saw incubus last week, and they were pretty great. brandon barely spoke to the crowd, though, and i felt somewhat shunned, like he didn't like us as a crowd. either way, they played a much better show a few years ago. the new stuff isn't top shelp anyways.

the shuffle action on itunes keeps picking some pretty great songs! feist!

i thought catch and release was a pretty great movie. kevin smith was hilarious, and that porn guy from the girl next door acted really well. smokin' aces was really good, too.

1:11, make a wish!

is it gay to admit that i'm totally diggin' fiona apple? both the extraordinary machine album and tidal album are so great.

harrowin'=heroin=heroine

been savin' up money real well lately. just holding off when it comes to my occasional splurges, which happened more often than "occasionally". ha! i did treat myself to one last good splurge, when brett and i went out for steaks before catching smokin' aces.

classes are killllllller. killer meaning entirely-overwhelming-and-slightly-seizure-inducing.

class load?

i love the little spanish rap in the song "Damelo" by Juanes. even cooler is that I know the damn rap by heart!

yo, elly and crew! fuckin' coachella. i want to be there. i'll even contract a terminal disease solely so i can ask the make-a-wish foundation to send me there. fuck!

so i've been jamming to some pretty schnazzy albums lately. the new damien rice, the last kiss soundtrack, the newest joshua radin album, old school DCFC, fiona apple's tidal and extraordinary machine, portugal. the man, the new snow patrol, and the juanes mi sangre tour live album.

i heard from a buddy in one of my lit classes that the police are reuniting for a few shows, so i'm gonna go research that little diddy.

and if it's true? splurge!
