On tuesday, I am bringing bentos for SIX people! Here's what I am packing:
Kid bentos (I'm making 2 of these)
1 gyoza
1 bun (the little meat filled things...they're yummy)
chopped broccoli and carrots
cheese w/ nori illustraition (if I'm feeling ambitious)
Adult Bentos (I'm making 4)
2 gyoza
1 bun
chopped broccolli and carrots
cheese cubes
quail egg
Group
Oniguri (2 filled w/ tuna and mayo for the kids, the rest filled w/ tuna, mayo, and a bit of wasabi)
Mango (one fruit, sliced)
3 oranges to share among the group.
We'll also have strawberries, because we're eating these when we're stopping to pick our own strawberries on the way to the beach. Also, I cannot explain how excited I am about the beach. IT IS SO WARM. I need the cool ocean to swim in and cool me down.
Also, this group bento thing has illustraited to me the reason why I need to get a LARGE bento case, for picnics and such. I'm using every little bento box and tupperware I have just so I can have enough. This is the one I'm looking at:

I am not dealing with the hot weather well. I didn't like the cold, but I'm just not used to it. Cold showers are helping. It's like taking a shower in a pool!
