one of my worst life experiences happened within this week - getting my wisdom teeth removed
they put me "under" as they say and it was just like the movies i had a needle in my arm and i passed out in like 20 seconds... and when i woke up i was so disorientated and couldnt speak. my favorite part about this was that the nurses were asking me questions and i was just looking at them and thinking to myself about how they wanted me to answer them because the questions they asked did not require yes or no answers, they required an actual response. i eventually motioned for paper and pen to respond and wrote all my answers on paper.
for hours after the operation when i was long gone and home, still bleeding from my mouth, unable to speak or do anything but sit, i decide to go to the bathroom, only instead to pass out on the bathroom floor for i dont know how long. when i came to i discovered i was not only bleeding from my mouth still, but also from the back of my head from falling down. that was a delightful surprise because you know, i havent lost enough blood already.
so i had to go back later that day to get my gums restitched so i could stop losing blood. i get there and the doctor gives me novacaine on the left side of my mouth and decides that i dont need any on my right side and starts stiching both sides of my mouth (sansnovacaine on the right side of my mouth). it should be noted that i havent had any pain medication since the operation and my gums are still plenty raw from the massacre that occured in my mouth from earlier in the day. i really havent felt pain before this. i have decided anything my nerve system has detected before that day was mere sunshine and happiness compared to the restitching of my mouth.
4 days of no solid food.
pills that never took away any pain
one week later, i can finally eat pizza, if i eat it without folding it (which is unsatisfying)
no more pain medication and i dont really sleep at night because of headaches.
oh yeah the doctor was a douche bag and if i see his stupid face again, i'm going to give him the most painful verticle suplex he has ever seen
