It has been said that in any conversation between two people, there really are SIX people present.
1. Who you actually are 2. Who they really are 3. Who you think you are 4. Who they think they are 5. Who they think you are 6. Who you think they are
You are uncomfortable with yourself and feel that you don't recognize who you are. I say this because you fear invalidation voicing your opinions, failure achieving a goal, and the dichotomy of being human. Life is hard when you live it while carrying burdens: perfectionism, conscience, responsibility, and the black & white view of it.
In ourselves & others, we need to recognize & honor the strengths and weaknesses we perceive because life (and our interaction with life) is not clear cut. Humans are far too complex to completely compartmentalize their actions and their feelings. Freedom and less stress is gained through making your burdens work for you. Perfectionism can help motivate results, conscience motivates fairness, responsibility motivates success, etc. Those wonderful gray areas allow you to judge one's character without beating yourself up for acknowledging a shortcoming.
There is no light without the shadow. Each of the seven heavenly virtues matches a corresponding deadly sin. Vices often motivate virtues. See because it shows it a lot better than I can.
For example, without judgment, we cannot acknowledge ourselves or others AND cannot feel at ease for putting each entity into various taxonomies. You cannot wish for success unless you can identify success. In order to have "wealth", which is a fluid term, you must first identify which aspects of it you aspire to.
What is wealth? -Being rich. -Being affluent. -Having a talent or attribute. -An abundance of materials. -An abundance of resources. -Prosperity & health. -Net gain. -Satisfaction of desires. -Fulfilling needs. -ETC!
There are tangible & concrete aspects of wealth, just as there are intangible & abstract aspects of it. The same is true for life and each thing mentioned in your post.
For me, wealth is having enough for me to exist comfortably. That would include keeping my sanity, staying alive without overwhelming worry, and cultivating my talents, interests, and needs. My only interest in the material is to meet my needs.
