Ok, this is Colin. This is going to be my political blog deal, where I rant and rave about our government and current events. I'll most likely post links to articles and give my opinions on them. Or I might just go on a tangent about a subject I'm reading about.
About me? I'm a conservative who dislikes Bush and some of his policies. Here's my positions on some issues-
Abortion-I am against, becuase I feel that when you make the decison to have sex, you are taking a chance, and you have to be responsible for what happens. Rape is a different situation, I think, but abortion is a no-no in my book.
Stem Cell Research-I have no problem with it. When it gets into cloning people, that's where I change my views. I don't think that humans should play "god" by any means.
Gay Marriage-Look, this isn't a civil rights issue to me. Whether homosexuality is predetermited before birth or is a choice you make, I don't think they should get married. The divorce rate is over 50%. We should keep what marriages we have somewhat important. I also don't think that they should adopt. Two moms or two dads aren't the same thing as having one mother and one father. Boys need a male role model in their life, and girls need a similar female role model. But, they need someone of the opposite sex in their life that takes care of them.
Economy-Why is President Bush cutting taxes??? Aren't we at war???
Feminism-I think the feminist movement is a load of crap. Women and Men were designed for different purposes. If women were meant to work and not have children, then they wouldn't have breasts or ovaries. The lie of the Feminist movement is one reason why the influence of the West and 1st world countries will die.
The War in Iraq-Bush should have fired some intel guys back in Washington when they found no weapons of mass destruction. No one forced America to be a spreader of "democracy", and we shouldn't be. I think Afghanistan was justifiable, but there was no cause for an invasion of Iraq, except for oil, which doesn't justify our invasion.
