MAN HUNT is a great way to end a long day (and other random thoughts)
So the projects are going pretty well I just hope I can pull my grade up (in all classes) to a level that reflects my ability level.
So after a day of sleeping in too late, I got up, I swear I don't know what happend. I got a lot done after dropping Amanda at work and rewarded myself with a night of hiding and running around like a maniac.
The game was being called man hunt. To me man hunt is where one person hides and everyone seeks the person to catch him/her becomes the man hunted. This game worked like zombies. Everyone hides and one person looks for people as the people are found they are tagged and become seekers or zombies who tag others. Shawn my roommate had gathered about 25 people to play.
The location was Spanish Oks apartments. Spanish oaks is all set on a hill the rises front to back about 50 feet and is about 150 yards square. To deal with the hill the land is terraced here and there creating odd little walk ways and lots of low wooden fences and drops of about 4 to 6 feet. Everywhere are shrubs and bunches of trees a few small fields and other oddities of landscaping. It makes amazing man hunting.
I was forgotten at the end of the final round. I noticed things got quite and realized no one was looking for me anymore. It was kind of sad. Though not totally unexpected as I don't know most of the people involved.
it was fun but kinda sad I got left in the woods. I hear they are planning capture the flag next. This time on campus.
I slept well.
Today I made progress on a job at World Market (worldmarket.com). It looks like not a bad job and they seem serious about hiring me. Shawn complains about it some time but I have a felling he hasnt had many jobs and like no truly bad ones.
Right now I'm typing this taking a break from the project and Moby Dick on "ion television". Captain Pikcard should have had a Captain Ahab edge to him. Or atleast we should get an Ahab character in that universe. Ahab in space would rock.
