This, is bliss.
Everyone has their idea of a perfect way to spend a chilly, wet day, and I got to live out one of my happy, cozy afternoon fantasies. I shut myself up in my room, lounged back on my bed with a couple of comfy pillows behind me, turned on the Knit Picks Podcast, picked up Craig's cabled sock, and knit, with a hot cup of cocoa beside me, and a cat near my feet.
It's been a dream. I've gotten so much work done on that sock. I'm taking a break from the toe decrease (I'm about halfway through it, almost done!!!!) to let my fingers relax before I start the fiddly bits near the end. I'm so excited to be almost done with this sock because I can't wait to finish the second one so I can knit myself a pair with one of the gorgeous yarns Mom gave me. I'm very tempted by the blue and purple one, but because it's so luxurious, I'm also thinking about leaving that one for last, because I know how nice it will be to work with. We'll see...I just might give into temptation. LOL
But yes, this is bliss, and now, I'm going to return to it. After I have a couple handfulls (or 10.....) of Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn...
