Ho, hum - July 21 : A New HP Book . . . . Yawns
Is is it sad that my first thought upon hearing that the new book was being released this summer was not OMG! Bliss! but more Urgh, mmmh is it that time again? It seems so soon before my heart gets ripped apart again?
And not just because of all the possible horrid HG/RW or on-again ickyness of HP/GW but just the sheer awfull triteness of the way it was all written? And correct me if I'm wrong but didn't she (JKR) say on her website or somewhere around Christmas time that she was only halfway through book 7 (I guess we can take it to mean as halfway through editing it) but still it seems so rushed. I know aside from the piss-poor romance of book 6 I also severely disliked the shall I dare say non-existent editing that there seemed to be going on all over the place in book 6. I hope we don't see the same in book 7.
I'm still very ambivalent about actually shelling out hard-earned moola & buying HP & The Deathly Hallows. Even the title doesn't really get me excited anymore other than brief wondering what the hell hallows meant. People, spoil me please and let me know if it's worth my time getting dressed, fighting for a parking space and waiting in line.
So what to do you all think of the imment date? Are you excited, ambivalent, ho-hum or what?
