Updates and stuff...
Took today off because I'm working on Saturday. Thrilling. I might see what the take-out is like from the tea room in Starke on the way home. Anyway, the first staff meeting for Dragon*Con is March 4, which is great. I can actually make it and I was worried it would land on a class day or work. Mind you, those two are the following Saturdays and conflict. Must contact Steve and bribe him with something so that I can stay with him. Hopefully Bev will have a baby by this point.
Oh, and in other news, power was out for four hours today. I sat around crocheting and listening to a book on tape. Since this is Florida, of course there were C batteries in the house, so was able to power up the boombox and listen to conspiracy theory. I never realized the Freemasons were so interesting. Afterwards, I called my stepdad, a Freemason in DC, and was like... soooo... how many ranks do you have in Scottish Rite? Apparently he's got 33. Must figure out how you get that 33rd rank because the tape said it was for something special and not available to everybody.
Anyway, was a good day.
