what a good good show
her space was wonderful. one of those really tremendous live bands. and ultra personable. there was also an opening guy that goes by daedelus, who only had a laptop. i liked him a lot. but the thing that really struck the heart strings was the crowd. there was 70 people at the most, but everyone was REALLY into it. dancing badly and smiling euphorically. there were no annoying drunks or music snobs, just a bunch of happy friendly nerds. we also met these guys from FRANKENMUTH. like they actually LIVE THERE. honestly, i've never imagined a real town beyond the bavarian inn and lumberjack festivals. they taught me rules of pool i didn't know and we made fake plans to go to the now it's over heard show this weekend somehow someway.
