For the first time, I cut my own hair. It took a while to make the first cut; the scissors bent around my head awkwardly and it felt like I could barely control them. They weren't even good scissors. I've used them for fabric for too long and they stick sometimes, half-closed. I tried holding up a mirror while standing with my back to the mirror on

Hold on. What's the plan here? Are you going straight to Germany or something? What happened to January in NY?

She IS coming back in January. Because I say so. And because I have more Season Five Buffy for her to watch--er, well, my friend does. And if that doesn't work, we could just bribe her with our stunning company, right? Right? Aw.

If she doesn't come back in January, we will charter a plane to Germany, fly over there, kidnap her, and bring her back. Or else.

They allow scissors now.

(I know because I printed up the official list so's I could bring my knitting aboard.)

Maybe they're limited to the safety variety, though.
