Seventh Chapter

I'm back from my trip. Fakir, I've left a new copy of your book outside your door. Rue, Mytho, and Ahiru; I left a basket of honey treats on the table that you're welcome to pick from.

I'm a bit tired, so I'll be in my bed for the rest of the evening.

...I recall saying that I don't want anything from you. Keep it.

If you intend on offending me, I advise against it. I went to a lot of trouble to purchase another copy, and I'm not taking it back.

...Is THAT what you went to town for? Hn. I told you in advance that I didn't want it. But rather than listening, you chose to go into town regardless and that's no fault of mine. If you don't want it back, then throw it out because I'm not taking it.

For merlinsake, could you try being something other than an ungrateful prat for a change?

I thought I'd do something... kind for a change, but nevermind. I should've spent the money on Rue instead.

I'm not taking the book back, so if you don't want it after all, go and toss it.

...Considering how my kindness got thrown back in my face, it's only appropriate that I return the favor.

It's blocking my door. And seeing as I never requested it, I don't see why I should be bothered with it.

i apologize.

However, the book i bought belongs to you now, so whatever you do with it is none of my business as far as i'm concerned.
