New Chapter! Kin and Kisses
Several months since the last update, we finally have posted Chapter 33! In two parts, because it was very long, I present you, Chapter 33: Tears and Talks
Story Summary: This story follows the marauders, Lily, and some original characters starting with the summer before their 6th year at Hogwarts. James is trying (and mostly failing) to win the affection of Lily, who has convinced herself that she hates him beyond all doubt. But that doubt is slowly fading... and soon she will realise. Sirius knows he's gay but struggles with feelings for somebody he'd never thought he'd fall for. Remus, too, is struggling with his own sexual identification. For once, Peter's love life is the only one in which real progress is being made. But, as always, Romantic wins and gains aren't the only things at stake.
Chapter 33 Summary: Things still continue to get darker and harder. But despite the growing darkness, our seventh years cannot help but have some fun. Things to look for: Lily/James, Maia/Emmeline, Remus/Sirius, lots of tears, lots of drama, and just a bit of humour and contentment.

"That's what I was saying!" Maia turned her head so that everyone was sure to understand her.
"We're rebels," she continued. "We're rebelling against the stupid idea that just because death is super likely, life is less likely. Death might happen, but I'm rebelling against the idea that we are dying. I'm not in a hospital bed! None of us are and... well... I'm happy... I mean, yeah I'm high right now, but I'm also happy. And I'm not going to let doomsday ruin this for me... and... You get what I'm saying. Or maybe you don't. But that's what we're rebels for -In the most adolescent way possible."
